In May 2023, at our friend’s graduation, we had our first real conversation. We’d crossed paths at university before, but this time was different. We clicked. Instagram DMs led to deeper talks, and before we knew it, Delfira was asking, “Want to hang out?” on a random Saturday night. With zero plans and zero ideas, we ended up driving across Jakarta for bakmi in Cinere. The route was ridiculous—Jagakarsa to Simprug to Cinere to Simprug and back to Jagakarsa again—but it became our favorite first date story.

What followed was beautifully simple: consistent conversations, genuine laughs, and a growing realization that we really enjoyed being around each other. We bonded over comfort food, not-so-late-night chats (Zhafran can’t stay up more than 10 PM), and the everyday moments that somehow felt extraordinary when we were together. By October 2023, we both agreed to take our relationship seriously, align our perspectives, and compromise on the values we’d use as life compasses.

In July 2025, Zhafran and Delfira got engaged. Now, after two years of dating and countless memories made, we’re ready to say “I do.” This January 2026, we’re excited to begin our forever together, surrounded by the people who matter most.
